READING CONTEST - RTP
Once again we are starting our reading contest - grade level against grade level during the third nine weeks. The students are to read and take tests on our Accelerated Reader Program.  First grade students will receive one ice cream scoop for every 6 points that they obtain as a grade level. Second grade students will receive one ice cream scoop for every 8 points that they obtain as a grade level. Third grade students will receive one ice cream scoop for every 10 points they obtain as a grade level. Fourth grade students will receive one ice cream scoop for every 12 points they obtain as a grade level. Fifth grade students will receive one ice cream scoop for every 14 points they obtain as a grade level. Everyone must contribute a minimum of 3 points for your grade level to win. The grade level with the most scoops will celebrate with a Scrumptious Ice Cream Bash at the end of the nine weeks. Iwill be counting the points on Fridays and will be placing the scoops for each grade level that day. So really READ, take Tests, get Points (RTP) and watch the SCOOPS go up for your grade level.
Volunteers for the Media Center
We would appreciate help with shelving books on any day during the week.  Preferably in the afternoons if you can come when we have the most books to be shelved.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.
